Veil, 2023, is a drypoint print based on early morning mists over the fields of Scosthrop, Malham. The mist, which lay in a long, horizontal arc across the hills gave occasional glimpses of sky and land as I walked through it.   The marks were made using different grades of wet & dry sandpaper applied to the wetted, metal surface. I used a length of wood as a guide and slowly dragged the sandpaper against it and across the surface.
